Act 1 Scene 5 Language Feature

In Lady Macbeth’s soliloquy, she uses personification to express her dark desires. Near the end of her soliloquy, she says “That my keen knife not see the wound it makes”. By saying this, she is talking about doing something evil, and could possibly literally mean she will stab someone with a knife, but when Lady Macbeth says “not see the wound it makes”, I believe she is trying to say she doesn’t want god or any other witness to see her evil intentions or actions.
